EMDR Therapy

What is EMDR?

Heal From the Experiences That Continue to Effect Your Present

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy approach that helps individuals process distressing experiences, reduce emotional overwhelm, and develop healthier beliefs about themselves. Services are available virtually for both current clients and new clients seeking EMDR therapy in the states of TX, MS and FL.

EMDR May Help With:

  • Trauma & PTSD

  • Anxiety & Panic

  • Childhood Wounds

  • Negative Core Beliefs

  • Low Self-Esteem

  • Grief & Loss

  • Relationship Trauma

  • Emotional Triggers

What to Expect

  • We’ll discuss your history, current concerns, treatment goals, and determine whether EMDR is the right fit for your needs.

  • Before processing begins, we’ll focus on building coping skills, grounding techniques, and emotional regulation strategies to help you feel supported throughout treatment.

  • Using bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps your brain process distressing memories and experiences so they become less emotionally overwhelming.

  • As healing progresses, we’ll reinforce healthier beliefs, strengthen resilience, and help you apply your progress to daily life.

Investment

  • Focused trauma processing and ongoing EMDR treatment.

  • Extended sessions allow more time for deeper processing and reprocessing work.

  • Available virtually for clients located in Texas, Mississippi, and Florida by Melanie Fields, LCSW.

  • EMDR services are offered as a private pay service and are not currently billed through insurance.
